Physical Therapy
The Physical Therapist assesses and treats impairments in strength and function that occur as a result of injury, disease, age-related degeneration, or environmental factors. Physical therapy treatments are performed by our professional physical therapist.

1
Evaluations & Treatment Planning
Physical therapists perform comprehensive assessments of participants’ physical function, mobility, balance, strength, and neuromuscular coordination. They develop tailored treatment programs focused on relieving pain, restoring function, and improving daily living capabilities—adjusted as progress is made over time
2
Therapeutic Interventions & Exercises
Therapy may include therapeutic exercises, gait training, neuromuscular re‑education, massage, and assistive device facilitation. Services often use physical modalities such as heat, water, light, or electrical stimulation to support functional recovery and safety. These interventions aim to maintain participants’ independence and reduce fall risk
3
Education, Coordination & Documentation
Physical therapists collaborate with nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, and program staff to ensure holistic care. They educate participants and caregivers on home exercise routines, proper use of assistive equipment, and safe mobility practices. All therapy services, progress notes, and reassessments are documented according to ADHC licensing regulations
